Dear Devotees,

This message has three announcements from the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing.

1) Temple appoints Mr. Chandu Patel and Mr. Pardeep Kumaras part-time Managers:
As you know, our Temple has added additional floor space, dining facilities, and other amenities to accommodate the growing needs of the mid-Michigan Hindu and Jain community. To operate this facility in a way that provides the best religious and cultural experience to our visitors and devotees, the Board of Trustees has appointed Mr. Chandu Patel as part-time Manager for the temple. Mr. Patel has been a long-time resident of Okemos and part of the community with his wife Mrs. Kala Patel.  He will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the temple and facility operations, working closely with the Board of Trustees.  He will also be able to provide assistance with scheduling of personal and community events at the temple based on the existing rental policies. We request all devotees who need poojas and priest services outside the temple to contact Mr Chandu Patel for such bookings. The preferred method of communication with Mr. Patel is via his email (ctempleh@gmail.com). You can also contact him at the temple’s phone number, 517-339-6337.

Mr. Pardeep Kumar, well known to all of you as a member of community and a former member of the Temple Board, has accepted the position of manager with a limited responsibility of helping with the temple maintenance.

The Board welcomes both of our managers.

The Temple is also in the process of adding another priest,
