Dear Devotees,

This week at the Bharatiya Temple of Lansing, in addition to the three events already announced last week, there will be another event on Thursday. The four events are:

Tuesday January 13, from 8:30 to 9 PM
Lohri celebration, with puja, parikrama around the fire, and distribution of prasad.

Wednesday January 14, from 6 to 7 PM:
Pongal (Sankranti) Puja

Thursday January 15, from 6:30 PM:
Thyagaraja Aradhana, a celebration in memory of the great musical composer Thyagaraja, who lived in the latter part of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. This is our second year of celebration. The program will consist of:
1. Pancharatna Seva (rendition of the famous five musical gems of Thyagaraja)
2. Individual singing by whoever is interested in singing Thyagaraja's compositions.

Pongal Cultural program, organized by Lansing Tamil Sangam.
